Blackberry Rosemary Simple Syrup
- 2 cups water
- 2 cups granulated sugar
- 1 cup fresh blackberries
- 1 sprig fresh rosemary
How to cook Blackberry Rosemary Simple Syrup
- Add all ingredients to a saucepan. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to simmer for about 20 minutes.
- Pour the mixture through a sieve into a large bowl. Mash the fruit with a rubber spatula through the sieve to maximize fruity goodness, scooping the thickened goo that’s a result of your mashing the fruit around off the bottom of the strainer.
- Allow the simple syrup to cool and store in a jar in the fridge for up to 2 months.
