Simple Syrup

Simple syrup can easily be adapted with seasonal ingredients such as lavender or cranberries.

  • 1 cup granulated sugar

  • 1 cup water

In a saucepan over low heat, combine the sugar and water. Whisk until the sugar has dissolved, about 5 minutes. Remove from heat and cool to room temperature. Store in a mason jar with a lid in the refrigerator for up to 1 month.
