Blogging Resources

Like every other blog out there, we have some products and tools we regularly use and could not be successful without them.

Many of these are affiliate links. If you want to know more about affiliate links, read this.

Camera: after playing around with photography for years and suddenly dropping the hobby, we needed something a little more sufficient than our iPhones or point and shoot cameras. We use two different cameras on a semi-regular basis, the Canon 7D and Canon 80D. Because we have different skill levels when it comes to photography, both of these cameras are good for those who are still learning and those who have been shooting for a while.

Camera Lenses: for most of our food photography, we use a fixed 50mm lens.

Memory Card: there's nothing more inconvenient than being at a winery or fending off hungry people when you get the dreaded "memory card full" message on your screen. We usually take two of these with us for any day trip.

We wouldn't be much use to you without continuously expanding our own knowledge and wine education. The World Atlas of Wine and Wine Folly: The Essential Guide to Wine seem to be the two books we pick up most often. When we first began learning about food and wine pairing, our eyes were glued to What to Drink with What You Eat: The Definitive Guide to Pairing Food with Wine, Beer, Spirits, Coffee, Tea - Even Water - Based on Expert Advice from America's Best Sommeliers and we would highly recommend it.
