The story behind this recipe isn't very exciting. Originally, the plan was to make normal spaghetti, you know, with tomato sauce but what do you know. The tomatoes were nowhere to be found!
So there on the stove was a pot of boiling water with spaghetti noodles that weren't going to be used. Instead of doing what normal people do, you know, get dressed and go to the store, I improvised!
I tossed three chopped-up garlic cloves into a salute pan with about a 1/2 cup of olive oil over medium-low heat and waited until the garlic began to brown. I then added 1/4 teaspoon red pepper and 1/4 cup of lemon juice. I then chopped up about 1 tablespoon each of mint, thyme, parsley, chives and rosemary. I mixed the dressing with the herbs and added it to the noodles.
